Afton Wyoming (aka Star Valley)

Afton, Wyoming is really a fun town to visit. Some shop owners have tried to give a good western feel to the town. The town certainly encourages it, with the elk horn arch, cowboy and cowgirl figures holding up town benches, cowgirl and cowboy figures pointing the way to parking, and the new beautiful civic center (I do not have a picture of it on this slide show)

Wyoming Track Meet

So, here it is mid-April. Easter is gone, spring break is past. We are in the middle of Junior High Track Meet season. These pictures of kids participating in track events in Afton, surrounded by snow, are telling of this very special place we call home.
