I was able to spend some time in the northeast corner of the state: Gillette, Wyoming. That is a long drive from my corner of the state, the southwest corner. You can click here to get to the official Gillette town website.
I was there to attend a meeting so I didn't get a lot of touring in. It also rained one day, the day that downtown walking tours were to be held. I didn't make it to the Rockpile Museum either, but I was able to go on a van tour of a coal mine. To view the Rockpile Museum's website, click here.
